Festival attendees can enjoy horse carriage rides, hot chocolate, coffee, and cookies while observing beautiful Christmas lights covering the downtown district. Other festival highlights include arts and crafts, live music, Christmas caroling, and visits with Santa.

Enjoy a concert at the Sunset by the Lake Summer Concerts hosted at Pleasant Hill City Hall. The concerts begin in May and continue every two weeks up until September. Another major summer attraction is the Fourth of July celebration, which features a parade, a five-kilometer firecracker run, a downtown parade, a home decorating contest and a post-parade after-party with live music and food, and a fireworks show.
 
The Blues and Brews Festival is a must-attend event for music and craft-brew lovers. The festival has run for over 11 years and features various live bands, cold-brew tasting, single pours of beer and wine, and a children’s zone. The art, wine, and music festival is another popular festival one can attend in Pleasant Hill. The festival features different food and crafts vendors, an extensive live music lineup, and wine and beer wristbands for sampling. 
 
Pleasant Hill has many great parks and trails, including Dinosaur Hill Park. The park is located on 13 acres of land and boasts excellent panoramic views of the city and Mount Diablo, making it a great place for walking pets, hiking, or jogging.
