The Hacienda de las Flores Park houses a historical city-owned Spanish-style estate open for public tours and private events. The Estate has a large patio with a central fountain, a spacious lawn, and a separate pavilion space with enclosed gardens and a circular portico. The Moraga Commons Park is a large park boasting over 40 acres of space with picnic areas, playgrounds, sand volleyball, bocce ball, a skatepark, and a bandshell. Conveniently located inside the Moraga Commons park is the Lamorinda Skatepark, which includes a skating bowl perfect for skateboards, scooters, and inline skates.
Rancho Laguna Park is a hidden treasure on the outskirts of Moraga. The park has gorgeous panoramic views of the surrounding hills and features tot lots, swing sets, a picnic area for 200 people, and an amphitheater. A highlight of the park is the Monarch Habitat and Demonstration Garden. The Garden contains over 600 plant species, including 95 native and drought-tolerant varieties that increase pollinator habitats. For beautiful hillside views, enjoy a hike at Donald Reservoir. The private trail offers panoramic sights straight out of a fantasy novel.
